E4 Analysis

E4 is a British television channel, owned by the Channel Four Television Corporation which is a publicly owned media company. This means that E4 is a free-to-air channel. E4 broadcast many comedies, reality shows and they also have acquired and imported US shows. The two most watched shows on E4 are The Inbetweeners and the Big Bang Theory. The E stand for entertainment and the content is mainly targeted at 16-34-year olds as they broadcast drama, comedy and diverse entertainment. The demographic is mostly under 18 females with no children. This demographic would mostly be interested in shows that include people the same age as them. They would also be interested in the dramas and comedies that are broadcast on E4.
